Important information about our ticketing system

Over the past few months, we've been busily working behind the scenes to launch a new ticketing system here at The Old Rep.

To make the final changes and move all our bookings over to Spektrix, we will be taking all events off sale from 10am on Tuesday 20 March until approximately 2pm on Thursday 22 March.

Taking the events off sale will ensure that no bookings are lost in the transfer period. We may be able to start selling tickets again sooner than Thursday 22 March so please keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages where we will post any updates.

Our Box Office phone lines will still be open as normal during this period where we can answer any queries but we will be unable to take any bookings until the new ticketing system is fully set up. Our Box Office will be back to normal in time for BOA's production of Sister Act at the end of next week.

Why we're changing...

Our new website and ticketing system will make the booking process quick and simple when booking in person, by telephone or online.

You'll be able to login to your customer account to see your orders and update your contact preferences at anytime. The cardholder wallet can securely save your card details making your next booking even quicker.

To login to your customer account for the first time you'll need to request a password renew email from our website. If you have any queries about how to do this, contact our Box Office who will be happy to help.

You'll be able to buy gift vouchers for friends and family, giving them the gift of fantastic night out at The Old Rep, and booking online with a gift voucher is hassle-free.

For our Christmas show, you'll have the chance to pre-book merchandise online to take the stress out of your visit and keep the kids happy!

Our system will be able to recommend other shows you may like based on the tickets you've booked so you'll never miss out on a great performance. And the View from a Seat feature will give you an idea of what to expect when you arrive at the theatre.

Are you a wheelchair user? You can be highlighted on our ticketing system allowing you book wheelchair spaces online 24 hours a day.

We are committed to providing greater access to everybody and want to ensure our visitors who require step-free access have the same booking experience.

To add this to your customer record, give our Box Office team a call on 0121 359 9444, and then you can start booking online straight away.

A booking fee of 7.5% will apply to all bookings except those made by education groups. This is the same transaction fee that was previously applied to all online bookings.

With our new ticketing system, rather than that 7.5% going to an external ticketing provider, all booking fees will now go back into providing creative opportunities for the children and young people of Birmingham and to restoring this iconic theatre for the years to come.

If you're signed up to our mailing list, we'll send regular updates on how your booking fees are being spent.

We appreciate your patience during our switchover next week and
look forward to welcoming you back to The Old Rep soon.
