Shakespeare’s most economical tragedy is a timeless tale. A tale in which honesty and integrity buckle under the strain of events. A tale in which the boundaries between friend and foe are smeared in blood. For once the unthinkable deed is done, there is no time for the Macbeth’s to stop, think or change course in this careering tragedy.
