Before your visit:

Tickets & e-tickets 

If you selected to collect your tickets at the Box Office (CoBO) please visit our Box Office on the day of the performance. Courter services open 1 hour and 30 minutes before the show start and remain open 15 minutes after the show has began.

If you selected e-tickets these should have already been emailed to you prior to your visit. You can also download these from your online account. Please print these at home or show them on a mobile device or tablet.

What time should I arrive?

Our Box Office is open 90 minutes prior to any live event (15 minutes prior to venue tours) for customers to pick up tickets and ask any enquiries regarding the show.

Our Bars open 1 hour prior to the evens. And our Doors usually open 30 minutes before the event is due to start, depending on if there are any delays.

Where can I find the running times for my performance?

Performance times are usually available from a week prior to the event. Our website and show pages are updated regularly - just find the production under our 'What's On' tab on the website.

If no information is displayed please contact our Box Office who may be able to help.

Can I take food and drink into the auditorium?

Drinks can be taken in the auditorium as long as they are in a plastic cup or bottle. Hot drinks must be in a cup with a lid.

No hot food is permitted in the auditorium, but sweets/snacks are allowed.

We recommend you using one of our hot drink cups to decant your sweets/snacks into to minimise any rustling noises.

No alcohol purchased outside the theatre can be brought into the building.

Do you accept cash?

We are a cashless venue, and we can only accept card and contactless payment methods.

What Do I do if i have a complaint regarding my visit? 

We would always prefer to resolve any problems during your time at the venue, so if possible, please ask any staff to speak to our Duty Manager who are available at any point pre-show and during the interval.

However, if you are unable to speak to someone on the day please email our Box Office team who will pass your email on to Management.

If you have a complaint regarding the show/performer please email Box Office who will forward this on to the company or agent.

I'd like to leave some feedback on my visit 

We always welcome feedback from our customers. You can do this by emailing our Box Office team, visiting any of our social media pages or leave us a review on Tripadvisor.

What Do I do if I have lost something at the venue? 

Please contact our Box Office team via email or phone and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

General FAQs:

Photography and mobile phones 

Patrons are respectfully reminded that, unless specified otherwise, the use of mobile phones and photography is not permitted in the auditorium.


For your safety and security, bag checks are now in operation. Please allow extra time for this. We ask that, where possible, you avoid bringing oversized bags as these cannot be taken into the auditorium.

CCTV is in operation 24/7 around the theatre for your own safety and security.

our Cloakroom 

Coats and other items can be left in our cloakroom at Box Office at a cost of £1 per item. There is limited space, so please refrain from bringing large items.

Any large or unusual items may be checked before we agree to store them.

Dress code 

There is no formal dress code. We want everyone to feel comfortable and able to engage with what is happening on stage, and so we encourage audiences and visitors to wear whatever they feel comfortable wearing.


The Old Rep venue is a no smoking venue, this includes e-cigarettes and vaping.

Patrons are free to step outside in the interval to smoke in our designated smoking areas if they wish so.
